The new remote setup is built in channel banks and edit banks respectively. The channle banks allow you to change pan and fader positions, the edit banks allow you to control eq, fx, faders and pan/mute of a selected chenel. Use the solo keys to select channels and the loc keys to page between banks.

REMOTE VERSION 4 (dec 01)

We modified the remote setup (which is dowloadable at Soundcraft) to include some neat features.
You should have VST 5.0 R6 installed for this to work properly.(it allows for multiple midi inputs) As well, we have two soundcards/midi inputs installed. One to drive the remote's midi. The two we are using are midiman USB and SB Live (normal MIDI). We use a MOTU 2408 for audio.

This is what the remote setup will configure the Soundcraft to edit. (our software VERSION 4)

What the remote control will do:
In fader mode, each of the faders move the volume for it's respective fader, 1-16 moves Cubae 1-16 etc. The solo buttons solo that channel in Cubase and the pan contorls pan the cahnnel. The mute buttons change the configuration of the soundcraft by switching the pans and mute to control aspects of Cubase's EQ settings and FX send levels.

So.. when you are in a fader bank, eg 1-16, and you press MUTE on channel 1, the mute buttons change to do this MUTE CONTROLS you have to press MUTE 2 to jump go back to using the fader bank.
